Prof. V.K. Patil [Principal, Smita Patil Public SchoolI am glad to place 'Smita Patil Public School (SPPS)' site before you. The humble beginning of SPPS (Residential for Boys & Girls) was made by Hon'ble Shivajirao Patil (Dadasaheb) in the memory of his daughter Smita Patil, a versatile actress, in the year 1996. Today, this residential School has grown into a full fledged Public School (English medium) catering to the needs of more than 900 students at a time to date.

 

The establishment of this beautiful Residential School is the result of the untiring efforts and inspiration from Hon'ble Shivajirao Patil and all our well wishers and dearest parents.

 

In the last 10 years, our School has made progress in all aspects. The School has on record 100% SSC result for the last 4 years. Since 2006-07 CBSE pattern for Class I to VII has been implemented and is well accepted and appreciated by all. Our students have brought glory by coming out with flying colors in Scholarship exams conducted by Govt.., NTS, Holyfaith, etc. In sports, our students have carved out a name for our School by wining prizes in all the Outdoor games at Local and State level.

 

With the completion of New Girls' Hostel in addition to separate Junior Boys' and Sr.Boys' Hostels, children enjoy a homely atmosphere with comfortable amenities. The well equipped Dining Hall provides delicious nutritive meals and breakfast to the wards.

 

Our aim also includes providing quality education through qualified Teachers/ Teachers from Kerala so that students who pass out through this school are fully prepared to take their places in the society.
