Smita Patil Public School is founded by the Smita Patil Charitable Trust, under the Chairmanship of the dynamic and visionary, Hon. Shri. Shivajirao Giridhar Patil (Ex.MP.). The Trust was established in 1996.

Mission:

To Provide co-education to the boarder students of the rural areas of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat as the school is situated at the boarder of the above three states. The education through English medium especially for the children of farmers and rural area is a dream of the Trust. To fulfill this dream is a basic mission of the school.

From the academic year 2008-2009, the school is going to implement CBSE syllabus for Std. I to VII , and afterwards by natural growth all standards will be converted to CBSE syllabus. With this international syllabus we are providing ample opportunities to the students to develop them by all respects.

The school is sprawling on 48 -acre campus.
